Stranger.FM is my proof of concept of what I believe the future of streaming media will evolve into. At its core, the application is a streaming service, much like Spotify, TIDAL, and Pandora, that spreads music not just by personal taste, but by geographic proximity to other users. The difference between Stranger.FM and other streaming services is that music taste and influence becomes gamified. As you gain followers to your channel, your sphere of influence increases and you are able to explore more of your environment through sound.
The prototype was built with Java in Android Studio.
